Get it wrong to get it right

I made a painful discovery that there is a pervasive fear of being or getting it wrong. We have many people who erroneously believe that getting it wrong is a costly mistake, so instead of making an attempt they fold their arms and snuggle into their their apprehension. Little do they realise that trying and getting it wrong actually takes you closer to getting it right. I would rather have people around me who have an attitude of a child. Children are not afraid of getting it wrong, they operate in an area of high uncertainty and confusion but they still remain audacious in how they seek the answers to the questions they have. I maintain that if people want to succeed, they will have to operate like children and embrace their questions. We are all seeking for something, some pieces that would make the puzzle complete. Some, a solution that would bring an ubrupt end to their most mind boggling problems.
Let us not be weary of seeking for we shall discover what it is we long to find. Let us also embrace the difficult with the simple, the bitter with the sweet for life does not just present itself in a monolithic manner. Life has changes and is multifaceted so much that sometimes one just doesn't know what is happening. It is when you are in that state wherein you do not know if you are afoot or on horseback that you need to letup for a moment and ask questions so that you may find clarity. Progress is a result of clarity. Clarity about what one wants and clarity about what has to be done. You cannot move progressively unless you are able to see the path clearly. So if you find yourself in that place of uncertainty perhaps it would be good to just pause and ask yourself some questions. Seek answers and you will find them. Never be afraid of asking "wrong" questions.

People First

Find out first what the need is and then create a solution for it. Most companies and entrepreneurs fail because they create products and then go out to look for customers. The result of that is that you have created a product that noone really sees the value of and then you spend a lot of time trying to persuade people to be consumers of the same. When in fact it would have been better to establish the need first and then creating a solution for that need. This is where the philosophy of people first comes in. As we often say,"people before profit" it is important to understand the needs of the people so that the solution you propose could be tailored for their specific needs. You don't want your product to be just another product on the shelves gathering dust while you are hemorrhaging money trying to keep afloat. So in order to avoid this you need to do a thorough market research. It is only after a research has been conducted that you will know if you have to create a product, what kind of a product and for whom. Only when this has been established can you go to your market to sell the product or service. Knowing your market will also tell you the right time to go to market. There are many good products that were launched to market at the wrong time. This can only point us to the fact that thorough market research was not done prior to the launch. So to avoid many pitfalls it is important to know your people.

What Challenges?

There is nothing in your day that can demand things from you that are not already in the inventory of your capabilities. You have been capacitated to deal with any kind of demand that emanates from your daily experiences. The biggest question that you are going to have to answer is; do you believe in your own potentials? Do you believe that you have enough power in you to deal with the most seemingly insurmountable challenges? Do you even see that your challenges are merely attempting to point you to your own strength and abilities? Perhaps the challenges we often face are really prompted by the strengh in us. So that our strengths are yearning to be utilised in order that we might move towards our destiny but they often cannot because we surpress them by being afraid and cowardly. The way-forward is really the way-in, if you cannot find your inner strength you cannot have the stimulus to move towards your dreams.
It takes you reaching-in, in order to move forward. You have been endowed with so much power, ideas, concepts and solutions that challenges are just drawn to you. Not so much that you should be intimidated but so that you may find a reason to unleash the potential locked up in the recesses of your inner soul. Yes I said it, challenges find their way to you. They know your address, they know your dialling code and they find you to be easily accessible. You should never shrink when confronted, rather, reach deep within the arsenal of your soul and you will be met with solutions, ideas and concepts that will see you rise shoulders above your situations.
