It's a transition!

In life we make transitions all the time, if you haven't you certainly will. A transition happens at a point of exchange. It is when something comes to an end and another one begins. Some transitions are smooth and seamless, so smooth that you don't even know that they took place. An example is the transition that takes place when night gives way to day. And then of course there are those transitions that are obvious, like when one moves from being a high school learner to a university student. Another one is when one moves from being an employee to being an employer or vice versa. A pregnant woman who just gave birth has transitioned from being pregnant to being a mother. In most cases transitions are not smooth and they can be emotionally taxing and daunting. So, the one going through a transition often feels it and at times there is an internal conflict that goes on. So when you feel uneasy sometimes or confused and rattled inside but can't really pinpoint what the problem is; it might just be owing to the transition you are going through.

Be your Wonderful you!

Successful people are so not because we can see the evidence of their success outwardly. Rather, they are successful intrinsically; they first had to be successful in their relationship with themselves before it could translate into the money, the awards, the recognition and accolades they receive. All those things are the evidence that they are successful intrinsically. So, the first place to be successful at is internally. There are people who just expect a great explosion of success yet their character (the real perxon inside) is missing some fundamental traits congruent with true success. Such a people are self-deceiving. People don't stumble on success, they work hard especially on self-improvement. They discover, follow closely and live out the laws of success to a point where they cannot recognise themselves outside those laws. Success is a result of obedience to the laws (Principles). If you want to get to a certain place, it is a matter of principle that you have to move. It is a principle and it cannot change, whether you agree with it or not. Principles work without distinction, they really don't care who you are, where you are from, what skin colour you have, whether you are stupid or a genius. They will work if you apply them correctly. Probably the most basic law of succes is belief. What do you believe about you, the world, divinity, failure, success, money, materials, poverty, wealth, health, sickness and laws. What is your attitude towards success? Can you ever see yourself being successful, if so do you believe you have what it takes?
What is your relationship with yourself like at the moment? It doesn't help believing you can be successful and you have what it takes while at the same time ha ing a toxic relationship with yourself. How do you deal with you when things don't go your way? Do you blame yourself and call yourself stupid because something didn't go right? That's not a very constructive thing to do. You must always be your own cheer leader, cheer yourself on when you are feeling down. Instead of blaming yourself for failing, soeak to yourself and tell self that it didn't work now but we will find a way to make it work later. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Look yourself in the mirror and tell you how wonderful you are, how unique you are. Did you know you are the only person in the whole entire universe who is exactly like you? That must say you are really special, peculiar is the word there.
Now go out there and be the best you you can ever be, remember if it doesn't work out, there is a next time.

You are ONLY as good as your LAST performance!

How well did you do the last time, so you got an award? Great! Just bear in mind that you are only as good as your last performance. Today noone really cares that you won an award for best something yesterday, this is because today has its own problems that have to be solved. So, you better shelve that award today and focus your mind on what's at hand today. The world of business presents problems everyday so holding on to your past success might just be a distraction and bring today's failure. The challenge with business is that failure is almost always imminent, so you always have to be super alert so that you are ready to tackle any issue that might arise. So past accomplishments have a way of distracting you from what matters today, I am by no means suggesting that you shouldn't celebrate your achievements but keep in mind the fact that today is another day, a new day and there are new opportunities to accomplish more than you did yesterday. God speed!

Akuna Mathata!

Worrying is a thief that steals your joy, not only does it steal your joy but your ability to see beyond the situation you worry about. The truth is that noone has ever solved anything by worrying about it. It is a useless emotion which drains your energy and your ability to think constructively and rationally. Worry also leads to stress, the kind of stress you don't need in order to be productive. Instead of worrying about a situation, I suggest that you pause a moment, take a deep breath and device a plan to solve the problem.

Belief-Systems and Car Engines

At some point in our existence we will have to renounce any allegiance to negativity and the limiting self-beliefs we hold about ourselves. If we are to achieve great exploits we need to have a right set of beliefs. The engine is very important to a car. The car, no matter how fancy it is, remains useless without the engine. Whatever the engine is to the car, a Belief-System is to our progress. We move or stagnate based on our beliefs. If you have limiting beliefs about your abilities, you have just disabled yourself and won't achieve success. It is crucial to understand that whatever you tell yourself you can't do, indeed you can't do. But if you tell yourself you can, somehow where there's a will there's a way.

Be Successful Today!

Each day brings you closer to your goal or further from it. As a result you must always ensure that at the dawn of each day, you have prepared and are ready to maximise your day. Of course we are all given 24hours in a day but it seems some people are able to do more than we can.
Perhaps the first place to start in interrogating this is to realise that yesterday is gone. Yes, yesterday might have been a great success, so much that you still feel the need to continue with the celebration but remember this, that progress can only be measured by looking at time. So you need to be able to say I had my victory yesterday but I have a gift of a new day today and I must do justice to it. Yesterday's success must not hinder today's success. I know that at times you need to use the data from yesterday in order to start your day. Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. There is something wrong though when yesterday's failure comes into today and steals from you what you could achieve today. So deal wisely with yesterday's data, let it work for you constructively.
After dealing with yesterday, the next thing will be to plan your today. This has proven to be problematic for a lot of people but I contend that it is important to do it because if you have a plan, you can measure at the end of your day whether you are progressing, stagnating or regressing.
Then the third thing is to Believe that you have what it takes to achieve whatever's in the plan. Then lastly, put some action to the plan; it is not enough to just have it. Many people make plans but never act on them. That's just wrong and self-defeating, it does not yield any fruits and it is absolutely useless. A plan without action is a wish. Wishes remain just that; wishes! No man has ever built a house by wishing, no one has ever travelled the world by wishing. By having a plan you will be able to predict the kind of succes you are going to have.
A man who has a plan has made up his mind that he is going to move, that he is going to change something and he knows how he's going to do it. A plan is a road map, it shows you the following:
1. Where the journey starts,
2. Which direction it takes,
3. Where to expect challenges and how to overcome them,
4. What tools you are going to need, how the tools are used
5. And finally shows you the destination.

Everyone who wants to maximise his day must go into it not without the assistance of a road map, it's imperative!
